Founded by Vianney D’Alessandro (lead guitarist) and Jürgen Wattiez (singer/rhythm guitarist) on a cold night in 2013, Bomber completed its lineup with the arrival of Romain Ircio on drums and Hugo Belval on bass. In 2023, Bomber welcomed Léo Vuylsteker on bass following Hugo’s departure.
Bomber’s music is a storm of thrash metal infused with hints of hardcore punk, 70s hard rock, and sludge: sharp, heavy, a controlled yet melodious fury. Their lyrics explore themes of violence, death, love, passion, duality, balance, and freedom, paired with varied compositions crafted for live performances!
Their first demo, Witness Hell, was released in 2015, followed by their debut album Sommation in 2018. The second album, Cages And Windows, has just been released in 2025, accompanied by a music video for the title track!
France, Belgium, the Netherlands, through concerts and festivals, they have been delivering explosive shows for over 10 years, driven by the desire to offer an ever more unforgettable performance!

It's fast, precise, has good choruses, excellent change of pace and the songs don't feel repetitive. I love my Thrash but many albums feel like they are made up of variations on the same track, especially in the speed department, but Bomber don't have that issue. They know exactly when to be fast, crank out a thumping medium pace section and even cut the guitars completely to let the bass shine through.

Sommation is a punchy thrash metal record with a lot of solos and of course, thrashy thick riffs, all wrapped around the same old thrash metal-esque singing. Starting the album with some punchy riffs and continuing the same momentum till the end of the record, Bomber make sure that nothing falls appart.
With an album like this to make an impact, I strongly sense that the next one might be bigger and stronger to make an everlasting impact on the metal scene as a whole. They have earned my respect. That being said, I can't wait tillthese talented musicians drop their next album.
